Untitled

Toes tingling, walking along the hot sand.
Hands clasped together,
Sharing secrets and other things.
I wonder could you be mine?

The cool breeze licking my skin.
Your eyes drinking me in, with the promise of something more.
Sitting around the bonfire and your kisses taste like honey.
After tonight, I wonder will you be mine?

The fullness of the moon now, invigorating my soul.
The light touch of your fingers, traveling down to hidden places.
In the morning, will you be mine?

And when our story is over, and our bodies are no longer Earth bound, our love will be emblazoned in the stars. But first tomorrow has to come, and then I’ll be yours and you’ll be mine.
