Get away from here.
Helped me escape
From hell
To the beauty
Of nightfall.
You led me away from
My cemetery of
Bad memories.
To a place much like
Heaven.
You took my cold
Hand and pressed it
To your heart,
And I felt, for the first time,
What love truly felt like.
I let my guard down,
Tore the walls around
My soul apart,
Piece by piece.
Because you gave me
Something to believe in
Again.
That a damned creature
Like me,
Could feel the warmth
Of love on my skin.
And feel Redemption’s
Kiss again.
I’ll fight my demons
Day and night,
To stay by your side.
Because our dark love
Is beautiful and I can’t
Help but love you.
