Use the Poem to Dry Your Eyes

Use this poem to dry your tears,
The ones that fall like April rain.
And watch our love bloom from
Heartache.

Love that won’t fade away.

Because I’ve seen those tears,
That gleam like shooting stars,
Streak down your lovely face,
And I prayed that I could free you,
Show you some saving grace.

Let me love you,
Like a ballad of yesterday
And chase away
Your demons.

Because you have suffered
Too many deaths
At the hands of those
You believed in.

Use this poem to dry your eyes,
Because your heart deserves
To be free.

You belong amongst the flowers,
Under the Full Moon,
And with me.

I've always had a passion for writing. In this crazy world that we live in, I find my solace in made up words and make believe stories. Let's escape into the void and forget about it all just for a moment or two.
