Before I Forget You

Let me spend another
Moment under a midnight sun,
So that I may have another kiss,
Another touch,
Another evening with you.

Because when you are gone
And I catch eyes with the stars,
I see every bit of your face.

I discover my future and my past,
In the constellations of your smile.

You haunt my dreams like a
Fashioned from the sinews and
Chambers of my heart.

You are in the depths of my
Bloodstream and the tiny cells

I see you in the shadows,
Though I am sightless in
The night.

Blinded by this delicate
Romance that we’re entangled in.
Blinded by the desire to have
You all to myself.

Skin to skin
Soul to soul
Sin to sin.

Give me everything you
Give me everything you fear.

Hold me
When the night
Grows cold
And the dark chill of tomorrow
Runs down our

Stay with me,
Until I’m strong enough
To let my demons
Rock me to sleep.

Make love to me,
Till I’m no longer
Afraid to feel the
Sting of your goodbye.

Kiss me before I forget you.

Before you descend into
The underworld without me
And I forget how to speak
Your name.

“You haunt my dreams.”
“A delicate romance”
“Under a midnight sun.”
“Before I forget you.”

I've always had a passion for writing. In this crazy world that we live in, I find my solace in made up words and make believe stories. Let's escape into the void and forget about it all just for a moment or two.
