Take me under,
To the depths of the sea,
Where we’ll never grow old
And we’ll never die.
And we can live as one body,
One spirit, One heart.
Free.
Take me far,
To the place beyond the pines,
Where we can be lost for hours
In the shade,
And no one will ever find us.
Where our path is made clear
With every intention we set,
By the twinkling of the morning star.
Take me there,
To your subconscious mind,
Where your imagination is free
And your visions run wild.
Where poetry falls like rain
From the clouds
And your night is forever dark
But my words light your way.
Take me now,
Because I am yours.
Our love was inked in the stars
And tattooed by the light of Hamlet’s moon across our broken hearts.
Because my world is made more beautiful
By the touch of your lips
And your breath on my skin.
Take me forever,
Because I am lost.
Without you the world is bleak and gray,
And the ash floats down like snow upon my face.
But with you,
My world is set ablaze
And we dance with reckless abandon around the fire lit by
Our passions,
With the crowns that sit high
upon our heads.
Take me to that secret place,
Where only you and I exist.
And our cries of love are
Amplified by the shimmering stars above us.
Where our bodies entwine and then release
Like we’re sacrifices prepared
For the gods.
Because only you know the shape of my body.
Only you know the taste of my soul.
My love,
In this life and the ones after,
You will never be alone.
Our hands will be linked together for eternity,
As we cross the River Styx
And into the valley of the damned.
We are two of a kind.
Mated for life in the macabre.
Here and the forever after.
Take me home.
