You long for winter’s kiss.
Scarlet ribbons
Across a sea of stars.
Your gossamer soul
Being tamed and assuaged
By precious things.
I long for something different.
Darker.
I have but candlelight dreams
Of silver bells and ice.
Of dark forest trees
Deep within the
Mountains in the mist.
I dream of the taste of you.
And the words you used to say.
Melting in my mouth.
I yearn for you
And all of your sins.
And the redemption you can give me.
