Don’t give me flowers,
Give me moments of peace,
Frozen into place.

Give me words to write
And to be inspired with.

For I have nothing but
A pocket full of unwritten poetry
About you.

Where all the infinite possibilities
Of us, come alive.

My soul belongs to you,
My love.

Because when you touch me,
I can see the other side
Of paradise.

And you are
Forever mine,
In our next life
And in this one.

So free me,
From this icy palace,
That my mind has kept me in.

Bring me light,
And sunshine
And warmth.

Bring me,
Every bit of you.
