Everyone wants something from you.
But not me.

I just want to love all of you.
All of your secrets and your heartaches.
Even the shadowy parts of your mind.

The world may not see you,
But I do.

They may just see you in black
And white,
But, I see the vibrant
Colors that swirl around you.
I see the purples and blues
Of your soul.

They may never understand you
Or try to learn about you,
But I do,
And I want to learn.

I don’t want to hurt you,
You’ve been hurt so many times
Before.

I don’t want to leave you,
You’ve been abandoned so
Many times before.

I just want to hold your hand
And show you what I know
You to be.

Show you,
That not everyone wants to use you.

So my love,
As long as I’m here,
We can fly through the
Inky night together,
And you won’t have to
Worry about waking up
From a dream.

Because,
Where we’re in each other’s arms,
Every night
Is a fantasy.

Every moment,
Is a memory we haven’t
Made yet.
