I’m a creature of habit,
Swimming in circles,
From here to there.
Searching love
And the magic of mysteries.
Searching for peace
And an escape from my
Own pain.
You see,
Wounds dwell in the echo of silence,
And I had been swallowed up by
Its waves.
I had searched for so long,
My limbs became tired,
And my heart had almost
Given up.
But then one day, you found me,
In the midst of love and its savage
Garden,
Drowning in a sea of reveries.
And I knew then,
When I saw your face,
I had finally found my home.
For when I thought
I could no longer see the shore,
The ocean brought me to you
And plucked me from the brink.
You are my paradise,
The underwater kingdom
I’ve longed to see.
The peaceful waters
I can finally lay down to rest.
