See Me

I’ve waited so long
for you to SEE me.
Because I’ve always
Been right here.
I’ve loved you from
The very start.

Even when the pain
Was too much to bear.
Even after the sleepless
Nights and the tear soaked
Pillows.

I loved you without
Any regard to myself
I loved you completely.

But I fear you never
Will see me.
Please let me go,
So that I can see myself again.
