This dark attraction,
This growing need,
Pulls me to a place unknown.

Like paths & planets,
I’m drawn to you.

Drawn to the way you say my name.

Drawn to the promise of sweet words
Whispered during exquisite moments.

Drawn to not just the fantasy of
Grinding hips and lustful nights,
But to the quiet moments,
Draped in silk, colored with tears.

So I’ll stay here,
Waiting for you in a state of golden
Bliss.

Waiting as the waters cascade
Down my skin,
In the aftermath of Summer.

I’ll let temptation fall and cover me
Whole,
As I dip myself in the cool touch
Of an awakening Autumn.

And perhaps,
When the time is right,
And the moon is full,
I’ll venture down south
Into the shadowlands.

Because I know that is place
Where we will always be together
And never be apart.
