Give me the honor
Of marking you
With my heart-stained lipstick.

Allow me to illuminate your sky
Between these sheets
One more time,
And make them as
Miracles from Heaven.

Then we can pretend
That nothing else matters.

Because what we feel for each other,
Is not a glittering illusion
And cannot be sealed or silenced.

And though scars cut deep,
You are who I bleed for.

For you eclipse my soul,
Every time you take me.

Launching a thousand
Distant fantasies and
Latent dreams
With just a taste of your kiss.

A taste of venomous love
A taste of carnivorous love

A taste of love
That feels like freedom,
When swallowed whole.
