Dark beauty,
Raven-haired
And eyes of emerald.

She steals away your heart
In the black of night,
Like a wicked wolf,
Set upon its prey.

You dream of her.
Lust after her.
Beg for a touch from her,
Just one.

Though she’s never spoken
A word to you,
Her power over you
Is almost too much to bear.

She is the Goddess
That enchants your nights.

The one you pray to,
With breathless offers
On your tongue.

She is your salvation,
The freedom you seek;
Held by her sun and her moon.

And when she is gone,
You ache,
You bleed,
You cry out for her,
“I can’t escape the ghost of you.”

But it is her kiss,
Featherlight on your lips,
That reminds you,
That she is never too far away,
And your paradise is within reach.
