After the lights go out,
And the storm uncovers
My secrets and scars,
I want to be in your arms
Amongst the stars
Weaving our souls together again.

For you bring vibrancy
Back to my lifeless
Garden,
With your radiant lilies
And intangible touches.

You breathe life back into
My wayward heart,
And make me want to live
In the moonlight again.

For I have spent my
Entire reckless life,
Believing that I was
Beyond redemption.

When you’ve been here
All along,
Underneath heaven’s gate
Waiting to take me home.
