Happy Sunday, my loves 💜🖤💜
How was your weekend? Last week was difficult for me, but the weekend made it a little better.

Now, for the quote of the week, this one is another one of those lessons I’m still learning.

“Not everyone deserves to know the real you. Let them criticize who they think you are.”

Damn.

We’ve talked about this before. Me being a people pleaser. And I’d be so quick to share all the details of my life with people because I wanted them to like me.

In the hopes that they would feel comfortable enough to share with me too.

And they rarely did.

I got my heart broken so many times because of my own expectations.

But then I realized that not everyone deserved to have this unfettered access to the innermost workings of my heart.

And I say the same thing to you. Let them think about what they want because not everyone deserves you.

And please, my loves, be careful with yourself.

And be careful with your heart.

You deserve PEACE
You deserve KINDNESS
You deserve GENTLENESS
