Poem of the Week

Happy Friday, my loves 💜🖤💜
How was your week? Mine was pretty chill. I was really looking forward to today because I’m officially on Spring Break!! Now I can attempt to get some r&r. “Attempt” being the keyword

Before I go, I wanted to share my choice for the poem of the week. It’s another piece by the prolific writer Atticus.

It is a wonderful poem that describes the feeling of longing so beautifully. I hope you love it as much as I do. Please let me know your thoughts; I’m excited to hear them.

“Forgive me
If I stumble and fall.
For I know not how
To love too well.
I am clumsy
And my words
Do not form
As I wish.
So let me kiss you instead,
And let my lips paint for you
All the pictures
That my clumsy heart cannot.”

~Atticus

Have a great weekend, and never let them take your shine because you shine so damn bright. Take care 💜✌🏽

I've always had a passion for writing. In this crazy world that we live in, I find my solace in made up words and make believe stories. Let's escape into the void and forget about it all just for a moment or two.
