When empty hearts collide,
They come together in a clash
Of thunder and lightning.
Passion and violence.
That’s what we were.
That’s what we did.
Two unknown entities
On a collision course,
Destined for danger.
Destined for
Doom or Desire.
You unlocked the
Softness in me.
The one I’ve tried to keep
Hidden.
You loved my darkness
And my vulnerability.
Loved my night, and my
Sunrise.
You sang to my blood
And filled all the empty
Parts of me.
So that not even
The midnight song of
A moonlit forest,
Could compare to the
Beauty of it.
When you’re gone,
I long for you.
No, not just long for you,
I hunger for you.
Hunger for a touch or
A kiss.
I taste forever on your lips,
And feel our eternity in my bones.
I know,
In my shadowed heart,
That you will be the ruin of me
Or just maybe my beginning.
