I want you.

I want you to caress my lips
And make my fantasies
Of an ivory-stained romance come true.

I want you to take me to the edge,
Overlooking the vistas of the deep.

Chain my heart and make it yours.

Submit me with your words.

Because when the poetry you speak,
Drips from your lips,
It’s like a thousand leaves,
A thousand letting go’s.

It’s like bonfires in the
Fields of dark and moonlight.

I’m haunted by your essence,
And obsessed with the way you shine.

So take me again, tonight, my love.
My villain,
My monster.

Make me see every star
Blazing like fireworks in the sky.

Chase me
Under a gently feathered sunset
Into a rose petal dawn.

Because we are two sides of the same
Sinner.

And I’m a believer just like you.
