Bare and naked.

Underneath it all,
I crave a love that heals,
A love that holds.

For I have been tough
For too long.

A hard exterior
With hungry eyes
And an even hungrier heart.

I search for the ghostly lover of my
Fantasies.

The one, bathed in light,
Who inspires me.

The one I write these words for.

I seek not the perfect love.

But a love that can transfix
My tortured soul.

The one who’ll kiss my
Dreams into reality.

Could it be you?
Could you wait for me until eternity?

And will you still kiss my scars
When I pass into the unknown?

For when I look at you,
I see you with solstice eyes,
And I would perish under your gaze,
Happily.

Because your love is a killer
And the source of my salvation.
