Barely disguised
Spinning desires.

Tiny fleeting moments
Of silence and need.

I look for you.
I look for you, in the chaos of mind.

Searching my dreams for your
Face.

Diving into my reflection
At the bottom of the ocean.

Because you are just like me.

My equal
My twin soul
My hero and villain.

You seduce my soul
And strip it of my dark secrets.

Taking my shame
And transforming it into
My divine gift.

A gift of power
And forgiveness.

Beneath the moonlight
I feel the waves of light
And dark,
Dancing over my skin,
Leading me to a place of
Celestial desolation.

Razing what I once knew
To begin a life
A new world
A new journey with you.

For of love and poetry,
I fall to you.

A sweet trap
Made of honeyed words
And summer streams
And puddles of the past.

And I would fall to you
Over and over.

Because you are the
Destruction I’ve so desperately
Waited for.
