When the soul bleeds,
You cry.

Tears of letting go
Tears of pain escaping
The shell of your divine
Presence.

Clutching the last glimmer
Of hope you still have in your body.

Wishing,
Praying,
Yearning for more.

More life to live.
More to love to love.
More heartaches’ healed.

But tonight,
When the moon shines bittersweetly
On your face,
I hope you see me there.

Reaching for you
Through the shadows
Soaked in moonlight and
Stardust.

I will give you life,
While there’s still enough air to breathe
On this floating rock.

I will hold your hand,
Till kingdom comes.

So tear down that
One final barrier
In your brain.

Yield to me and the love
I give.

Let me bring you paradise
To hell on Earth.
