But then you came in
Like a whirlwind;
Curing me of the
Poison infused in my veins.

Releasing the sad magick
Placed upon me,
That tattooed my mind.

My soul has scars.
Scars burnt deep within me,
With tragedy and angst.

But, you gave me my voice back.
You gave me a necropolis of hope,
To build on.

You gave me the inspiration
To pick up my quill,
Dip it in ink,
And set to writing freedom
Upon the empty pages
Of my diary.

When you are not by my side.
I touch myself to my
Favorite sounds,
Because I hear your voice
In the eventide.

But when you are here,
I know the nightingales
Will sing our song
Of dark romance
And ecstasy.

Because,
We love
We falter
We rise
And we do it all together.

For in the stars,
You are my destiny,
And not even time
Nor space
Can take that away.
