You and I are linked,
Not just in minds,
But in sinew and bone too.

We are so connected,
That I dream of you by candlelight.
Like you are a fairytale
Laced with sin.

And in the waning light
Of my dreams,
I hear you call to me,
Full of emotion and lethal desire.

You take my past reflections
Into your hands
And love each one of my fears.

And I let you,
Seeing as I trust you, implicitly
With the secrets of my heart.

For this love unmoors me.
Sets me adrift
Upon the perilous sea.

But, I am not afraid
Of what may come
And the dangers, thereof.

Because it is your eyes
That bring me home,
Your kiss that keeps me safe
And your soul that lights the way.

And for that,
I would gift you
All my tomorrows
And everything you asked for.

Everything my soul can give.
