Drown me in your daze,
For I have been overtaken
By mayhem and chaos,
And can only be
Soothed by the melody of
Your kiss.

You conduct the symphony
Of my heart,
With just your gentle touch.

A perfect concoction
Of dark ecstasy
And delicate harmonies.

And I have drank the love potions
With inky skulls on the labels,
In the hopes that your love
Will infuse with my blood,
And bring me closer to you.

For you have taken my
Blooming anguish
And transformed it
Into something
Airy and beautiful.

Something I was not prepared for.

And though poetry
Strengthens my heartstrings,
It is you that makes music with
My soul.

Makes music in the moonlight
And the ever-after.

Makes music for me to
Remember you by.
