There is a mysterious girl,
With an Angel smile
On the night train.
She sings woeful songs
About bittersweet romances
And deadly desires.
She sings
And tonight,
We dance,
Where pain once danced.
With the music
Reverberating through our
Imprisoned hearts.
Hearts full of dirt and sorrow.
Hearts full of unshed tears.
Her mournful ballad
Unlocks a box full of darkness
That we each kept inside.
One of ghosts that linger,
And dreams of nocturnal
Novembers.
She’s unleashed something
Spell-binding within us.
Something carnal,
Something dangerous,
Something different.
Her silken voice
Opened our young minds
To what limerence feels like.
To what belonging somewhere
And to someone, feels like.
Because when I’m not with you,
My heart is.
When I don’t feel you,
My soul does.
You are my every intrusive
Thought,
And my mind is possessed by you.
The mysterious girl
With an Angel smile,
On the night train.
She sings woeful songs
About bittersweet romances
And deadly desires.
And tonight
She bids us,
In her otherworldly voice,
To embrace the dark
In each other and
The beauty of our secrets.
Because a love like ours,
Is as exquisite and as
Intoxicating as the
Sea of Stars.
And I would give the
Entirety of my being,
To share that with you.
