Behind my eyes,
There’s a girl
Who has been lost.

Drifting through the
Perilous woods,
That have stolen and
Thrown away lives.

But you came to me
One night.

You took my hand
And led me out.

Saved me,
From a life I was doomed
To repeat.

You ground my soul,
Take my gray skies
And make them beautiful.

I pray you never let me go.
Because what I feel for you,
Is unquantified.

Unmatched by not even the
Whispers in silvery night.

Now I sit here,
Under the gleam of the moon
Waiting for you.

Because I don’t want to just
Dream you.

I want to feel your
Nourishing embrace,
Healing my soul and
Sealing the cracks of
My concrete heart.

So please,
Come back to me,
My love.

Let’s watch the night sky
Twinkle above us.

As love bloom in the dark.
