Inspired by the
Curve of your smile,
And the way your
Eyes light up my sky.

I am warmed by your
January fires and your
Butterfly kisses against
My cheek.

I fall deeper into the
Shadows of your love,
And you are there to
Catch me in the night.

So on this evening
Between the Moonlight
And my sins,
Every word I write,
Will be in deference
To you.

Because you are the
Beacon I look to,
When I’m lost at sea.
