Happy Last Friday of 2022, my loves 💜🖤💜
How was your week? That period between Christmas and New Year is always so weird, like time doesn’t really exist, and Christmas cookies for breakfast are a thing. Maybe that’s just me, lol.
Before I go, I wanted to leave you with my choice for the poem of the week. But first, I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for a wonderful 2022. We have shared so much this year, and I am so thankful for all of your love and support. Every book sold, like, share, and repost has meant so much to me. Thank you so much.
If you know me, you know how much I love Nikita Gill. Her work is just breathtaking to me. And this piece, in particular, is absolutely that. It is entitled “What Does Love Feel Like?” It’s one of my favorites of hers. I hope you love it as much as I do. Please let me know what you think; I’m excited to hear your thoughts.
“One day,
You will meet someone who will
See the universe that was knitted
Into your bones,
And the embers of galaxies glow
To life in your eyes.
And you will finally know what
Love is supposed to feel like. ”
Have a Happy New Year, and never let them take your shine because you shine so damn bright. Take care 💜✌🏽
Love Always,
KVP
