I’m only human,
So my heart speaks
For me when I should
Stay quiet.

My tears shed,
When withering
Words are burnt
On my skin.

I love so powerfully,
When the stars
Kiss my cheeks.

And because my soul
Is so open,
I have a constant longing
For that one great
Romance.

The kind that sets fire
To the world.
The kind that, with a
Simple gesture,
Takes the pain away.

The kind that makes
You believe in Magick
Again,
And the taste of it,
Brings your body back
To life.

I long for you.

I long for your touch,
Your art,
Your poetry.

I always have.
And in my mind,
I always will.
