The sun is coming up.
The after glow has faded.

You sleep peacefully next to me.
We shared secrets and dreams.
We shared goals and undone promises.

The memories of last time,
Still fresh on my mind.
Your touch, my kisses,
The infinite bliss of it all.

We collapsed in a heap,
Of tangled sheets and
Pillows.

Last night, will stay etched in my
Mind forever.

But for now, I sit here and
I stare out of the window, happy,
Happy we have more time.
Happy that we have each other.
