It’s in the eyes, you know.
The truth behind it all.
Lips lie.
Spinning tales and fantasies,
Of things that’ll never
Come true.
Hands roam,
Touching places,
That are starved
For attention,
Filled with need.
Bodies meet and bond,
Over shared lust
and perhaps
Insecurity.
But, it’s the eyes.
They tell the truth, Of it all.
They speak
the hidden things.
The secrets.
The pain.
The sadness.
The real and the unreal.
The eyes don’t lie.
They tell your
Story, better than
You ever could.

Wow, Kim!! I so love this! You totally captured the truth in a secret betrayal and lies hidden!! Bellissimo!! Amazing!
Would love to share the poem on this subject I wrote but am saving for a book. If you might like to read it let me know
