Untitled

The scent
Of your cologne,
Hangs in the air.
I stop in my tracks,
And I am mesmerized.

A flashback of a
Steamy summer night.
Eyes rolled back,
Skin on skin.
And I am shook,
With the vision of it.

The night you held
Me, in your arms.
Stars twinkling above,
My heart racing below.
The darkness clinging
To our bodies,
In the moonlight.

Your pretty words,
Familiar in my ear.
Leave me breathless,
Wanting more.
One hand tangled
In my hair,
As you trace my jaw
With your lips.

Is this love?

The time I’ve spent
Without you,
Is more painful
Than I could ever
Imagine.
More heartbreaking
Than I thought it’d be.
More devastating than
I can bear.
And I miss you.
