One last drop falls,
And it signifies the walls
That I have built around my heart.

It signifies the night
My heart stopped beating.

But it was your soothing kisses
That brought me back to life.

That have taken
My bitter ends and doomed beginnings
And turned them into destiny.

I have searched for so long
And have followed the
Twinkling orbs of fate
To find you.

And find you,
I have.

Not at the end of the rainbow,
Like a storybook fantasy.

But, underneath the full moon
And beyond the sea.

And I will sit,
As the waves crash against my feet.

With the blank pages of my future
Waiting to absorb my words.

My words I write to you.
To you, and only you.
