Confess to me.

Lay your heartbreak at
My altar of ghosts and flowers,
And let yourself be free.

Feel the echoes of my kiss
Wash over you,
As we paint the moon
With the pastel shades
Of your heart.

Let your darkness
Melt away in my arms.
As we stand
On the edge of oblivion.

We’ll hold hands
As the world burns down,
Watching yesterday’s sleep fall away.

Confess to me
And let me replace your broken pieces,
With the gentleness of my touch.

So I may absolve you
Of every sin you’ve committed
And every one,
We’ll do together again.
