Shatter my soul,
Underneath a moonlit sky.

Cover me in
Teardrop kisses,
And let the waves of my passion
Take you under.

For I am born of the universe,
And darkness calls to me.
But your piercing flame,
Lights my way and
Heals my mishandled heart.

Unwind the grip of madness
That has clouded my senses,
And quench the holy aches
Inside of me.

For you are my 2 a.m hope
And all that I desire.
In this life, and the ones to follow.

Because freedom is what
Lies in the depths of your eyes.
The conduit of life, on your lips.
