Cast a spell on me,
To shape the ache
Inside my heart.

Because I have been buried
Underneath the crimson daisies
For so long,
I’ve forgotten what
Makes my soul shake.

I feel most alive,
When you take me to
The razor-sharp edge,
And awaken the humanity in me.

Force me to look down and witness
The slow seduction of our monsters,
Dancing precariously
Above the Earth below.

So hold me close,
For I will not turn away
From you.

Because I hunger for these
Dangerous liaisons.
Caught somewhere between the
Circles of Hell and
The golden streets of Paradise.

My love,
Meet me at the cemetery gates,
So I may be your resting place.
The comfort you’ve sought
Endlessly to find.

And when you’ve slept
For long enough,
And you wake from your slumber,
I wonder,
Will you haunt me forever?

Because I really want you to,
Here, in this life and
Beyond the folds of time.
