All I have
Are fading memories,
Sinking to the depths
Of my mind
Like wraith daydreams.

Memories of nights
Now long gone.

Memories of how you
Said my name.

But I know in my soul,
That I will never forget you,
And the ephemeral love you gave.
And how you owned
My desires and understood my fears.

Taught me to be free,
To rise from the bottom of my
Of the seas of my
Broken heart and let love
Guide me again.

All it took,
Was a gentle touch,
A drifting kiss,
Some sweet serendipity
And a forbidden moment
Lost in the downpour
Of a summer storm.

All it took was you…
