I hope you had a great weekend and that you got all the rest you needed to start this brand-new week.

Damn.

This lesson, I know all too well.

But the thing is, not everyone that comes into your life is meant to stay.

Some will, and that’s because fate has decided that THOSE are your people. The ones you need in your life the most.

It’s the others, though, the ones that are there for the moment because they’re just passing through.

Those tend to be the ones we get caught up in and lose ourselves in.

To the point where you can’t imagine your future without them in it, and when they leave, it’s heartbreaking and devastating.

I think if they were meant to be in your life, there wouldn’t be conflict, sadness, or feelings of anxiety over them.

They would just be…

If you’re constantly questioning your value to them, it’s probably time to let them go. Difficult as that may be.

Because no one should make you feel less than. Especially for loving them.

And when they leave, don’t close your heart up because someone will always be waiting in the wings.

Someone who will see you, for you.

And give you precisely what you need.
