Taste Me

If I told you that I
Wanted you,
Would you give me
What I asked for?

Would you share this honeyed
Poison and taste all of me?

And if I told you that I craved you,
Would you fill me with the hidden
Parts of you?

Oh, how I wish you were here,
Beyond the storm
And between the
Whispering pines,
Loving me like you used to.

For now,
I dream of your touches
And of your tears,
And how lovely you were
When you cried.

And so I pray to the moon,
Once more,
That I may hear your voice
Again.

Because
Your love is
A thunderbolt
Through the heart.
A piercing of flesh
And bone.

I could live in the
Shade of your sunlight
And die in the darkness
Within.

I see heaven in your eyes
And I want to be saved.

I've always had a passion for writing. In this crazy world that we live in, I find my solace in made up words and make believe stories. Let's escape into the void and forget about it all just for a moment or two.
