The Fire: Devoured & Ravished

When the sky falls
And the world burns,
I want to be there to watch
It with you.

I want to make love
When the moon
Moves out of sight,
In the sinister shadows,
As the Earth smolders
Under our feet.

Because we are no longer afraid
Of the pain that rages in our veins.
We are no longer prey to those that
Have hurt us.
We are no longer afraid of the
Night and the things that lurk
There.

Whatever terrors we had left,
Whatever horrors lived in our dreams
Has been scorched from our bones,
And we have become what they
Feared the most,
The wicked and the damned,
And I would see them engulfed in
The sins of their past, together.

In you, I have found a
Kindred spirit,
The truest definition of a twin flame.
You devour me,
Consume and ravish me
And I would burn for you eternally,
Because of it.

My love for you grows deeper
Than the truth I have buried in the dark
And I want your fire to swallow me
Whole.

I've always had a passion for writing. In this crazy world that we live in, I find my solace in made up words and make believe stories. Let's escape into the void and forget about it all just for a moment or two.
