But what do
I know about heartbreak?
I’m just a girl
Who has shed a few
Too many tears.
Had too many sleepless
Nights.

I’m just a girl,
Who has cried in the rain,
Far too many times,
And had way too many
Nightmares.

The pain of it all,
Was far too much to bear.
That it forced me,
To find a new way forward.
And remember
Who I was before you.
