Make love to me
As my world burns with unquenchable
Flames.

Let my crimson teardrops fall
Down my face
While I’m reshaped by your Heaven.

Read my letters to you
That I’ve transcribed on my skin
And feel every single word
I’ve written.

Because I was born in darkness,
And lost to fright.

A child amongst monsters,
Craving serenity and
Dreaming of peace.

For I crave you,
And will abandon the night
To let our souls dance
As lovers do.

I will leave behind my nightmares.
And trace my footprints in their ashes.
To walk with you through the fire
Draped in embers and ivory.
