You found me, once,
Surrounded by darkness.

Chasing beauty in the twilight,
Summoning the storms.

And then you pulled me close.

Traced your fingers on my neck.
And whispered your secret name to me,
Because you knew it was
So strong.

I was unable to stay in control,
Letting the shadows quake
And the midnight consume me.

But the Stars lent you to me,
A one night deal, of sorts.

To undo the pain
And wipe the tears from my eyes.

And I would smile again,
Breathing,
Living,
Shining just for you
And the love you bring to me.
