Here comes the night,
When my musical soul is restless,
Like an angel possessed.

When the notes of my song rise,
And clarity becomes whole.

Oh love,
Breathe into me.

For I surrender to the madness
That only your touch commands.

While my melody chases time,
And my body aches for you,
Let the sands flow between us,
Like measures in a sonnet.

And I’ll be here,
Wrapped in sapphire silks of longing,
Counting down the beats
Until I find you again.
