He is her salvation,
Her refuge,
Her embers of hope
That burn steadily,
When her mind is
Lost in the darkest of nights.

With words like honey,
He eases her pain.
Guiding her to release,
As he tears apart slowly
The wall she’s built inside.

For he is her keeper of secrets,
Her comfortable silence.

Loving her,
Despite every one of her sins.

In blood and harmony,
Her path leads only to him.
The place where she will thrive.
The place she will be set free.
