For the quote of the week, I chose this one because it’s one of my favorites.

“Stop expecting YOU from other people.”

Damn.
This, I think, is one of those lessons that I have to keep learning.

I’ve got to remind myself that everyone has the ability or capacity to love the way I love.

To care the way I do.
Or even to feel like I do.

You cannot control other people’s emotions, thoughts, or feelings any more than you can control the weather. So why try?

Why break your own heart and stress yourself out over it?

Instead, take that same energy and love yourself with it.

Focus on what makes you happy.
