Happy Sunday, my loves 💜🖤💜
I hope your weekend was full of all the good things! And you’re ready for a new week.

For the quote of the week, I chose this one because I have to keep telling myself this.

“Stop expecting YOU from other people.”

Whether in friendships or romantic relationships, we expect reciprocity in our treatment.

We go all out, bend over backward, and overextend ourselves sometimes to make sure the people in our lives know just how much we value them.

But not every relationship is the same. Not everyone has that same level of commitment.

They have their reasons for it, some of which we may never understand.

And I know it hurts when we expect them to love us the same way.

But, we must understand that expecting that can only lead to heartbreak.

You either take them as they are, or you walk away.

You know what’s best for you and what you deserve.

If they can’t see that, they can most certainly kick rocks.
