I wanted to share with you a few things about the most important woman in my life, my Grandma.
She was an immigrant who came here in the 1950s and worked her ass off to be successful. She taught herself how to speak English and never looked back.
After a pretty tragic upbringing, she and my wonderful Grandpa, saved me from the Hell I was living and raised me like I was their own.
She taught me so many things about life, love, and myself. I’m so happy to have her with me. With my Grandad passing away years ago, she’s been right here with me, and it’s a blessing. I’m so proud of that tiny little woman, who came here all those years ago.
I’m so proud I get to be her Granddaughter.
Happy International Women’s Day, everyone and take care 💜✌🏽
Love Always,
KVP
