It’s raining now,
The sun has hidden its face
From the unseen equations
Of the day.

And the droplets
Wash away the sadness.

There’s clarity in discomfort.
Joy from the other side.

Because your love,
Leaves me in a knotted embrace.

It is the gravity that pulls on my depths
And promises to bathe me
In your gossamer light.

Your love,
Cleanses away my reflections of pain,
With lavender and wine,
So I may sink beautifully into the night.
