When you close your eyes tonight,
I hope you think of me
And smile.
The way I will for you.

In my dreams,
I’ll tell you,
I love you and that I
I always have.

But when I wake,
The secret will
Stay with me.
Love, unrequited.
Love, hidden in the shadows.
